48-Hour Network Change Risk Review · For MSP delivery teams

Find the risk before the maintenance window.

Send one planned Cisco, Palo Alto, ISE, or SD-WAN change. Receive a senior-engineer assessment of the risks, validation gaps, and rollback weaknesses—entirely in writing.

01—The decision you receive

Know whether the change is ready—and what to fix if it is not.

A clear Go, Go with Conditions, or No-Go readiness decision

The five highest-priority technical and operational risks

Missing prerequisites, dependencies, and unclear plan steps

Rollback gaps, triggers, and recommended corrections

A pre-change, in-change, and post-change validation checklist

A concise, client-ready executive summary

One round of written clarification after delivery

A white-label PDF with no Herman Stone branding, if requested

02—What we need

Enough context to challenge the plan. No production credentials.

  • →The proposed MOP or written change plan
  • →A sanitized topology or simple network diagram
  • →Relevant, redacted configuration excerpts
  • →The planned maintenance window and expected result
  • →Known dependencies, success criteria, and rollback plan
The public brief is for qualification only. Do not attach or paste passwords, tokens, private keys, full configurations, or unredacted client data. Secure transfer instructions come after written acceptance.

03—Published boundary

A review, not an open-ended consulting engagement.

  • ×Live system access, implementation, or maintenance-window support
  • ×Creation of a complete MOP from an undeveloped idea
  • ×Architecture redesign, configuration generation, or vendor TAC approval
  • ×Emergency, same-day, or unlimited-revision work
  • ×A guarantee that a production change cannot fail

Your MSP and client retain responsibility for change approval, implementation, and final operational decisions. The review supplements—but does not replace—your internal change control or manufacturer guidance.

04 — A written path from brief to decision

No cold call. No discovery-call gate. No calendar chase.

01

Send the safe brief

Describe the platform, change, timing, and main concern. Do not send configurations, credentials, or client-sensitive files through the public form.

02

Receive written fit and terms

Within one business day, we confirm fit by email. Accepted reviews receive the fixed scope, NDA option, secure payment instructions, and protected upload path.

03

Get the review

The written assessment is due within two business days after complete inputs and payment are accepted. No discovery or sales call is required.

04

Decide the next action

Implement the recommendations internally, ask one round of written questions, or apply the full review fee toward deeper assurance.

05—If deeper assurance is needed

Apply the full $750 toward the 10-day package.

If the same client change needs MOP development, rehearsal, or a fuller evidence pack, the entire review fee is credited toward the $6,500 White-Label Network Change Assurance engagement. The upgrade must begin within 30 calendar days. One credit may be applied per engagement; it is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

$6,500 package − $750 review credit = $5,750 remaining

06—Questions, answered in writing

What buyers usually need to know.

Do we need to schedule a meeting?+

No. Qualification, payment, secure intake, delivery, and follow-up can all be handled in writing. A live technical session is optional only if both sides later agree it will improve a larger engagement.

Which technologies fit?+

The review is designed for Cisco routing, switching, SD-WAN and ISE changes, plus Palo Alto firewall changes. Describe another platform in the brief and we will confirm suitability before accepting payment.

How much work does the fixed price cover?+

One clearly bounded change, one client environment, and up to five network or security devices. If the request is larger, we explain the options in writing before work begins.

Can the deliverable be white-label?+

Yes. On request, the client-ready PDF contains no Herman Stone branding. Your MSP remains the client-facing provider.

Can we sign an NDA first?+

Yes. A mutual NDA can be completed before sensitive project material is uploaded. Never place passwords, tokens, private keys, or unredacted personal data in the public form.

What if the change is not ready for review?+

We decline or recommend a better-fit scope in writing before work begins. If payment has already been collected and we cannot start within the published boundary, it is refunded.
